City of Peshtigo Residential Setbacks
Sec.52-149. - Average building setbacks for residential.
In Residential Districts, except for corner lots, required setbacks shall be modified where 50 percent or more of the frontage on a block is occupied by residences having setbacks less than that required by this article, setbacks on each remaining lot shall be determined in accordance with the following rule:
(1) The front building line of a proposed structure shall be no nearer the front lot line than a line joining adjacent front corners of the nearest principal structures that are in the same block frontage on either side of the proposed structure.
(2) On a block frontage, if no principal structure exists to one side of a proposed structure, a structure may be assumed to exist on the corner lot which conforms to the minimum setback and side yard width requirements of this article.
Sec 52-266 – R-1 Yard Setback.
In the R-1 District, minimum yard requirements for principal buildings and accessory buildings attached or unattached to principal buildings shall be as follows:
(1) Front yard: 40 feet.
(2) Rear yard: 20 feet.
(3) Side yard: ten feet.
Sec 52-299 R-2 Yard Setback (Signal family conversions to apartments)
In the R-2 District, minimum yard requirements for principal buildings and accessory buildings attached or unattached to principal buildings shall be as follows:
(1) Front yard: 40 feet.
(2) Rear yard: 20 feet.
(3) Side yard: ten feet.
Section 52-320 R-3 (Multiple Family )
District, the maximum building height shall be as follows:
(1) Principal buildings for multiple-family: 45 feet.
(2) Principal buildings for single-family or two-family: 35 feet.
(3) Accessory Bulding 15 feet
Sec 52-322 R-3 Yard Setback
(1)Front yard: 40 feet.
(2)Rear yard: 20 feet.
(3)Side yard: ten feet.
