KAUKAUNA CULVERT / DRIVEWAY PERMIT APPLICATION

APPLICANT AGREES TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:

1. Installation made  at a place that does not create a dangerous situation for traffic on roadway.

2. Applicant holds harmless the Town of  Kaukauna and appointed agents.

3. The entire cost of installing the culvert is the responsibility of the applicant

4. Any damaged roadway surface, slopes, shoulders ditches and vegetation that are disturbed shall be restored.

5.Work shall be conducted using good engineering practices including erosion control until vegetation is established.


CULVERT REQUIREMENTS

1. Culverts must be new metal and at least 30 feet in length plus end walls.

2.Culverts must be of a size to allow for the upstream flow of water.

3. Aprons shall be the full size width of the culvert.

4. Aprons shall  be vegatative cover, gravel landscape stone under one inch or bituminous material.

5. Water ends to be directed from running onto a roadway.

6. End walls can not be covered by  materials which would inflict a higher risk of damage to vehicles and recreation vehicles.

 New residential construction also must meet requirements of the Uniform Dwelling Code  as specifies in SPS 321.125
